Seneca Women’s Basketball Team Falls to St. Lawrence, Men’s Basketball Triumph

A tough night for Seneca Sting women’s basketball, losing to St. Lawrence Vikings. This was the Sting’s third loss in a row. Seneca was leading 44-37 by the end of the third quarter, but ultimately fell short in the fourth.  The final score was 67-56.

Seneca Sting’s women’s team has their next match at home against Loyalist College on January 22.

 

Seneca Sting Men’s Basketball

Meanwhile, Sting’s men’s team continues to perform well, with their 11th win of the season.   Jordan Anderson was a key player in last night’s victory over St. Lawrence. He led the team with 13 points, including this 3 pointer in the second period to make the score 28-15.

Nabil Ibrahim was also a star player, who added 10 points to Friday night’s game. He and head coach Jay McNeilly both feel that there is room for improvement, despite their victory.
