A 21 year old Toronto man is in critical condition after a shooting at the 407 TTC subway station in Vaughan.
At around 11 p.m on Tuesday night York Regional Police responded to a call after there were reports of gun shots in the parking lot of the subway station at Highway 407 and Jane st.
Shortly after arriving on the scene, police found the victim with a single gunshot wound. The man was immediately taken to the trauma centre at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
The parking lot was then closed for several hours for York Police to investigate.
According to Constable Andy Pattendon of York Regional Police, the investigation is still on going and no arrests have been made yet.
York Police are urging the public to come forward with any information they may have regarding the incident.
