A vigil was held on Tuesday night at the LakePoint Community Church in Oxford where many friends and neighbors of the victims gathered. After the attack at the Oxford High School, Ethan Crumbley has been charged with terrorism.

The prosecutor said there is a “mountain of digital evidence” that proves this crime was premeditated. Chargers against the suspect were announced a few hours after the 4th student was pronounced dead specifically at 10:45 A.M on Wednesday. Prosecutor Karen McDonald said this was not an impulsive act. During the court hearing for Ethan Crumbly, Oakland County Sheriff’s Lt. Tim Willis, talked about a video posted by the teenage boy the previous night where he was discussing killing students before the violent act.

The parents of the suspect had been summoned at school hours before the teenager turned the school into a bloodbath. The Principal wanted to share the concerning behaviour their son showed in the classroom.

Ethan Crumbly has been charged with murder, attempted murder and terrorism causing death and gun crimes as an adult. When he was asked whether he understood the charges, he responded, “Yes, I do”. He intentionally brought a handgun at school to kill as many students as possible, said Prosecutor Marc Keast after successfully arguing for no bail and the teenage boy to be transferred from a juvenile institution to jail.

The victims were identified as Tate Mre, 16; Hana St.Juliana, 14; Madisyn Baldwin, 17 and Justin Shilling, 17. Amongst the wounded students, there was a teacher as well who got shot in the act. Four of them have been treated and released, two of them are still hospitalised and a 17-years old girl is still in critical conditions. After the shooting, the prosecutor told reporters that this should be a wake-up call for a new gun-law that has become “desensitized in school shootings”.

Ethan’s father bought a semi-automatic handgun more specifically a 9-mm Sig Sauer gun last week according to the Sheriff. EH came out of the school washroom and started shooting at everyone in the hallway. The deputies rushed within minutes to stop Ethan from doing any more damage. The Prosecutor Karen McDonald mentioned that they are also considering charging the parents. At this point, the parents’ of the student advised him not to speak to the police. The authorities have to gain permission from the parents or guardians to be able to talk to him.

The Sheriff mentioned how crucial it is to share any tips when it comes to social media posts about the threat of a shooting at the school after the attack. The District of Oxford mentioned that the school will be closed for the rest of the week. In a social media video(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7wo0OxjD1w),  students are seen to be rushing out of the first-floor classroom window rather than opening the door to someone who claimed to be a police officer. After the shooting, students were interviewed and Bryant from Grade 12 said he has been hearing threats “ for a long time now” about plans for a shooting.
