Coping With Covid 19

Coping with Covid-19 has been an interesting journey. It has changed the norms of day to day life with many things being closed and access to daily things becoming strenuous. Waiting in long lines, being forced to put on masks and the stigma individuals have when they see others. Avoiding contact has made everyone a suspect to this virus. It has also opened a gateway to undiscovered problems, such as mental and physical health problems, that may have been overlooked throughout the mundane activities and work schedules that swept things under the rug. Being in the household for the majority of the day has been chaotic, with limited space everyone is stepping on each others toes causing spurts of confusion and altercations. It has also brought us more together as family, spending needed time that was lost while we were going about our individual lives. Ways I have been keeping myself together are keeping busy, with school, writing and getting my health back in order. Continuing to set new goals and opening myself up to new talents and activities such as podcasting getting comfortable with my voice and being on camera. The pivotal tip that I give to others coping with this pandemic is to take the time to figure themselves out and be alone. Keep the faith and don’t be afraid to express feelings and any issues you may be dealing with.
