Cyber AI is an application that is directly apart of the artificial intelligence field of cyber security to ensure protection of those active in the digital world. This direct mission of Cyber AI is a game changer in cybersecurity but it is not always perceived that way. The global AI cybersecurity market was valued at $15.7 million dollars just four years ago, but the market is expected to sky rocket to $133.8 billion dollars by 2030, growing at a CAGR of 23.6%. Cyber AI is often defined as a tool towards detecting, preventing, and even responding to ongoing online threats.
The Founder of Cyber AI
The blind CEO of Cyber AI is Jeff Pledger who sees things through a different lens. Jeff’s ongoing passion for technology and consistently making the effort to educate and protect the public from continuous frauds and scams that take place online. The unique vision that Jeff Pledger has for fighting against fraud and scams has created a sense of innovation and protection in the digital world. Jeff Pledger’s management expertise goes back 25 years as a database and application security analyst with Verizon in the U.S. After moving to Toronto, Pledger enhanced his existing skills through post-graduate studies in Cybersecurity, Fintech, and IT-Project Management from York University and Seneca Polytechnic. Pledger talked about how he uses his condition as a motivation. “I went blind at 27, and now I’m 68 and what many people think of as a barrier, I think of it as a motivation”. Jeff Pledger has taken the blindness as motivation to educate the public to not make the same mistakes over and over again.
What are some of the products that make Cyber AI unique?
Nearly two years ago, Jeff Pledger and his wife Suzanne published a book called Cyber Ollie’s that is named after their dog Ollie. The mission of the book is to provide the public with tips and tricks to spot and avoid any on and offline frauds. The book is written in a very unique voice that will properly engage those who want to learn important life lessons on how to stay safe in today’s age. Jeff Pledger commented on how his product differs from others. “We look to give a full spectrum of products to help you, the customer, to understand and learn so you don’t keep repeating the same mistakes over and over again”.

How HELIX helped launch CyberAI?
The HELIX program at Seneca Polytechnic was able to provide CyberAI with multiple services that helped benefit the development of the company. Several different factors played a vital role in the evolution of Jeff and Suzanne’s company CyberAI. Jeff Pledger commented by saying CyberAI’s success can be directly tied to our participation in the HELIX program. Whether it was through the receipt of grant dollars, coaching and mentorship, and/or providing networking opportunities with other professional Helixers, These factors which helped us to move forward. Even more so, are the relationships we fostered with other HELIXERS working towards success.
How is AI going to evolve in the next ten years?
AI is something that has grown very rapidly over the last couple of years and is expected to evolve in the next ten years. Putting forward predictions of the future of AI would be extremely difficult to pinpoint. However, it would be ideal to say that AI will become much more advanced and even integrated into our everyday lives. Suzanne Pledger commented on AI evolving in the next ten years. “It’s certainly going to get bigger. It’s going to get much more money involved in trying to be the winner in the race. I think it’s going to get out of control unless they really put some guardrails on it. Jeff Pledger says that “AI, has the potential for helping humanity go to the next level or it could destroy us”. AI is certainly going to be a potent tool that is going to be relevant right now and in the future, it is going to depend if it either elevates or diminishes the state of humanity.
