The Seneca women’s volleyball team is looking for a better performance than the one it had against Durham Lords last Saturday, even though they won the game 3-2. The Sting look to improve their record to 14-0 and stay undefeated this season. The coach for the Sting Saba Seda said his team’s performance against Durham showed room for improvement.
“We got blown out in the first two sets 25-19 and 25-14. I also mentioned how we needed to improve our serve and pass game and weren’t in the first two sets.”
He continued by praising the team on their comeback saying “thankfully the team responded well to our chat in between the second and third and we reversed and swept Durham 3-2.”
The coach hopes their good practice week will help them better prepare for their game versus Loyalist. The Lancers will be looking for revenge against the Sting. They lost their last match against Seneca. The Lancers are eighth in the standings with a record of 5-9 but are coming off two wins in a row over Fleming and Georgian Colleges. The Sting play Loyalist on Saturday at 3 pm at the King campus.
