They also had a great home record of 8 wins and 1 loss.  Good for second place in the standings in the East behind Durham.  In the west division Humber finished first with a perfect 18-0 record.  Conestoga and St Clair each had identical records to Seneca, 14-4.   The women’s volleyball championship will be held Feb 23-25th at Sheridan College in Oakville.

Davina said after the game,  “Next we need to go and play for the final 4, We don’t know who we play yet but we are hopeful we can make it to the final”. She also said “I think we need to practice more on receiving serves because defensively we are not quite there yet and if we do that the next game should be good.”

Next up for the Sting will be a crossover match against Redeemer University, the sixth place team in the West.  The Royals finished with a record of 8-10.   The game is Saturday Feb 18th at 1:00 at Newnham campus.
