Libramonte, who got the winning point in the game to help Seneca secure the win, was playing his final game at the Newnham Campus.

” It’s a little surreal, it’s a little bit more definitive now since it is like my 5th year and it is my last home game, So it’s a bitter sweet moment. I enjoyed my time here so it is honestly been an awesome time”.

Libramonte says the team has lots of work to do to get ready for the playoffs. ” We got to go back to the drawing board now we got to prepare for whoever were facing because we still don’t know yet because it’s between two matchups so I guess we’ll see when those matchups are over, we’ll watch some film and go over what we need to do in order to prepare for that.” So Seneca will be keeping a close eye on the two matchups so that they can keep themselves ready and prepare for what is up next for the Sting men’s volleyball team.

Next up for the Sting is a crossover game Saturday evening against Cambrian College in Sudbury.  The Golden Shield finished in third in the West with a record of 13-5.  The winner goes on to play in the OCAA championship tournament at Fanshawe in London Feb 23-25th.
