Many students are looking forward to returning to classes and adjusting to the new challenges that come with a new semester. Second year student Diego says he’s adjusting to an extra hour of classes compared to his classes last year as well as the challenge of balancing his time between work, school and social life. First year student Madison, says commuting will be her biggest challenge as she lives an hour away.

As the sunshine still remains, students are soaking up the last bits of the summer season by utilizing the courtyard outside. Sitting and eating lunches and completing the first bits of school work outside.

Research has shown that students that have attended college or university orientation weeks tend to be more successful overall, as they have opportunities to get better acquainted with students and faculty in their programs as well as learn about the school resources and get affiliated with them early.
