R kelly’s former cellmate Brendan Hunt, 37 is currently behind bars for threatening government officials after the  Capitol riot on January 6th, he shared a cell with the R&B singer for 2 weeks back in June. From that experience, Hunt claims to have gathered enough material to write and illustrate a comic about the two day-to-day activities.

The comic book titled “Prison Comics” details the pair partaking in yoga and discussing music together. Hunt filed the drawings with the Brooklyn Federal Court as a part of his formal request to be released for time served ahead of his sentencing.

The comic begins with the pair discussing their taste in music, with Hunt adding that he is unfamiliar with who the R&B singer is. Hunt claims to be foreign to some of the R&B singer popular hits such as ‘Ignition’ and ‘I Believe I Can Fly.’
