Canada Takes One Step Closer To Qualifying For 2022 Qatar World Cup

Canada’s Men’s National Soccer Team has not been in the World Cup since 1998 but this year it’s a little different, as Canada’s Men’s National Team is the first to qualify for North America after their dramatic 2-1 win against Mexico on Tuesday November 16th in Edmonton.

Canada is currently sitting in first place in the qualifying table for North America followed by the United States in second place and Mexico in third with only six games remaining. It’s very likely that Canada will qualify for the World Cup for the first time in 23 years. 

With the current men’s national team, Canada could possibly be favoured contenders to win the World Cup with Players like Alphonso Davies, Jonathan David and Cyle Larin Inform currently. Canada’s national team looks lethal when it comes to counter attacks and starting play’s from the back.

Canada still has six games to play In the World Cup qualifiers and they will be held in early 2022 over the span of a few months. Their first game of the year will be against Honduras on January 27th then they play the United States January 30th, after that El Salvador February 2nd then they make their way to Costa Rica on March 24th then Jamaica March 27th and their final game for the World Cup qualifiers Canada play’s Panama March 30th.
