Toronto Christmas Market: Once again, one of the most popular events each year is the Toronto Christmas Market, located in the historic Distillery District of Toronto. Opening on November 13, this is a European-style market is a must visit, with charming wooden stalls filled with seasonal treats, handcrafted gifts, and a large Christmas tree. It also includes live performances by local musicians, appearances from the great Santa Claus himself, who says hello to families and children alike. Cavalcade of Lights: Nathan Phillips Square hosts the Cavalcade of Lights from November 30 to January 7. But it is also a flagship event in itself-a lighting of Toronto’s beautiful 15-meter Christmas tree, further topped with live music, ice skating, and a fireworks display. Graced with 300,000 energy-efficient twinkling lights, the event celebrates both the festive season and this city’s commitment to sustainability. The official tree lighting takes place at 6:30 pm which presented by Toronto Hydro and will marks the beginning of the holiday season.
Santa Claus Parade: This is a beloved tradition since 1905 which is a cherished annual event for families. It features beautifully decorated floats, marching bands, various performances, and of course, Santa Claus making his grand. The event will take place on Sunday, November 24th at 12:30 p.m. and for the first time ever, live on YouTube.
