Doping in sports has been happening for several years. There have been cases all over the world and at all levels. While an athlete may face a fine, suspension or even lose their medals, the question you may ask is why they do they take performance-enhancing drugs in the first place.
In episode six of The Flip Side of Sports, you will hear from John Wolohan, a professor at Syracuse University. He teaches sports law and athlete’s rights. During the interview, John spoke about why athletes take performance-enhancing drugs and how doping is affecting sports as a whole.
