She’s4Sports heavily engages with its community, whether that be through social media, podcast, and panel discussions that speak about key issues in sports like representation, pay equity and leadership opportunities for women. By providing a platform for athletes, executives and journalist, the company creates meaningful conversations that really bring change to the industry. Taking initiatives like mentorship programs and networking events, She’s4Sports connects upcoming professionals with industry leaders, which helps create opportunities for women to thrive in sports related careers.
She’s4Sports is a Toronto based organization that was founded in 2016 by Ainka Jess, aiming to amplify the voices of women and diverse communities in sports through digital content and events. The platform recognizes the contributions of women in sports and address issues like general diversity, equity, and inclusion. Since its launch, She’s4Sports has accumulated a community of over 8,000 sports fans and industry leaders.


The organization has already hosted a great amount of events, including one of Toronto’s first all female hockey panels, and produced digital series, such as “She Leads by Sport” which highlights the journeys of inspirational women leaders across the many different sports divisions. Many different collaborations with partners such as Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities, and Canadian Women & Sport have really assisted their mission to educate, engage and empower women and girls in sports.
She’s4Sports has also collaborated with major sports organizations like the NBA, WNBA and the Canadian Olympic Committee, in order to advocate for greater inclusion and visibility for women in sports. By magnifying, the voices of underrepresented communities, the company continues to challenge the status quo and push for a change within the system. While the sports industry evolves, She’s4Sports stays at the front line continuously, making sure that women and girls from all backgrounds have the resources, support and recognition they deserve in the world of sports.
