Seneca Sting have a busy weekend coming up as they play against Loyalist Lancers(3-1) on Friday and St. Lawrence Surge(3-5) on Saturday. According to the current OCAA stats Seneca Sting is ranked third while Loyalist Lancers are ranked fifth followed by St. Lawrence ranked seventh in the Eastern Conference. Sting have won four games and lost two.
Last Friday, the Sting ruled the Fleming Knights early into the game and secured an easy 93-56 victory. The Sting put their best game forward by having a 24-10 lead by the end of the first quarter and 59-21 lead at halftime. The Sting was smooth sailing through the second half of the game as they were outscored by the Knights 35-34.
Jordan Anderson led the Sting with 18 points to go along with three rebounds and six assists. The Sting made 10 three-pointers and shot 13 of 18 from the free throw line.
