Google has released its top trending sports teams throughout 2022, and sadly, neither Toronto Maple Leafs or Toronto Raptors can make it to the top. The top 5 teams are the Philadelphia Phillies, an American baseball team; a basketball team named the Boston Celtics; an ice hockey team named the New York Rangers; and a football team named the Cincinnati Bengals. The two basketball teams, the Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtic, dominate the search, especially when the two teams have a match during the NBA season in June 2022. On the other side, the New York Rangers don’t stand out much compared with four other teams in terms of interest over time.
