But unlike most who chose to leave this platform, Jim Carrey decided to leave us with a little…gift. The Canadian born Comedian stated in his final tweet, “I’m leaving Twitter, but 1st here’s a cartoon I made with my friend Jimmy Hayward,” he wrote, speaking about the collaboration with the director of animated movies like “Horton Hears a Who!” and “Free Birds.”

Carrey has long used his twitter platform to showcase his art, which usually centres around former President Donald Trump. So, given his use of cartoons and art, it was only fitting for the comedian to exit in the same fashion, with an animated version from one of his paintings.

Along with Jim Carrey’s exit, others who have also call it quits on the social media platform are rockers Trent Reznor and Jack White, comedians Kathy Griffin and Whoopi Goldberg, and even Master of Horror Stephen King.
