The much anticipated annual auction at Seneca Polytechnic is back, with a great range of items for alumni, employees, and students. The auction is an excellent chance to buy things while giving back because the money raised goes toward supporting student initiatives, scholarships, and activities. The auction has some exciting items in the line up.
Among the equipment for sale are two Panasonic AVCCAM Handheld Professional Video Cameras. The AG-AC160AP Memory Card Camera Recorders offer a host of advanced functions. The lens, camera section and recorder section of these models have been significantly revamped by incorporating cutting-edge technologies. Included: Camera, bag, 1 or 2 batteries, battery charger, direct power to camera adapter.

If you’re an audio enthusiast or budding podcaster, Tascam audio recorders are another highlight. These are just a handful of the items that will be up for auction this year. Bidding started on Monday, Feb. 10 at 8 a.m. and is open until Friday, Feb. 21 at 8 p.m. Items must be picked up from the Newnham Campus. Pick-up dates will be during the last week of February and first week of March.
The auction, has raised over $70,000 for the Campaign for Students. The current target for the auction is $15,000. In addition to offering the opportunity to find bargains, each bid contributes to the funding of student services, scholarships, and projects that improve Seneca students’ lives in the long run.
