A legacy possibly in the making and a legacy that’s left.

Vince Carter surpasses 25,000 points against his former team, the Toronto Raptors.

In a game where you’d think in the dying seconds, Carter wouldn’t reach 25,000, but that wouldn’t stop him. With less than a second left in the game, Carter gets a nice feed and he dunks it like he did when he was in Toronto.

Carter is one of 22 NBA players who have surpassed the 25,000-point marker. And to make it even better, it was against the team that may have his jersey retired and up in the rafters. Carter cemented his legacy in Toronto with a rookie-of-the-year, a few all-star appearances, and a dunk, some people will remember, for the rest of their lives.

Comparing his first season in the NBA, to possibly his last, Carter had 913 points in his rookie season. And this season, Carter is 41 and so far in 18 games, he has 133 points. A total that could possibly reach his rookie season record and possibly have his name stamped in the history books once again.
