No mercy was shown in the final home game of the season. Sting’s women’s team swept the Fleming Knights to make it four consecutive wins.

Women’s head coach Shane Christopher says Seneca’s future is looking bright, despite some players graduating.

One of those players graduating is Kayla Golla (left). She and her twin sister Kira, have been playing volleyball since grade 11. Neither of them started against Fleming, but Kira came on as a substitute. With her sister graduating, Kira hopes she can be a starter for next season.

Sting’s men’s team was also phenomenal, getting themselves a big win in their push for a playoff spot. Seneca’s men’s volleyball has never won the gold medal in the OCAA championship. Head coach Brian Singh hopes that can change this year.

Sting’s final two games of the regular season are against Durham, and Canadore College on February 7 and 9 respectively.
